Our Mission

Michigan Mud Control aims to provide affordable mud control grid systems for livestock that help improve safety by providing stable footing and elevating animals above the mud.  These grids create a solid surface for livestock, reducing the risk of slipping or becoming trapped in soft, muddy ground, ensuring a safer and more comfortable environment. Additionally, our products help minimize disease and parasite risks, enhancing animal welfare, productivity, and farm cleanliness. We are also committed to environmental sustainability, using 100% recycled plastic in our products.

about1

Our History

Michigan Mud Control was established in 2023 by owner Sarah Roch. Sarah’s journey in the horse industry began in 2015 when she purchased her first Tennessee Walker, named Champ. Since that time, she has actively engaged with various resources to deepen her understanding of horses and their care. Her interest grew in “Horse Track Systems” and how they are utilized in the United Kingdom for horse management. During her research, she discovered Mud Control Grids, which are highly recommended in the UK. Inspired by her knowledge of these grids, Sarah reached out to Hahn Plastic Canada to become a trusted local distributor for Michigan. This experience fueled her passion for educating livestock owners who face mud challenges each year. Thus, Michigan Mud Control was founded in 2023, quickly becoming a reliable supplier in the Midwest.
